Weekly update

The start of the new season is approaching fast. At the Annual Exhibition, 30 visitors expressed an interest in joining the Club and all have been invited to a welcoming evening on 31st August. So far, 10 have confirmed they will attend and Membership Secretary Madeleine is following-up with the others. At the welcoming meeting, they will meet their mentors and members of the Management Committee.

Unfortunately, Julia Wainwright whose image is featured, is no longer able to lead the Print Group for the coming year. If this is something you would be interested in doing, please let me know asap at mailto:chair@chichestercameraclub.org.uk. The members of the group help each other improve the quality of their images through constructive critiques. It provides a great way for less experienced members to tap into the experience of more advanced colleagues and so is very important to the long term future of the Club by encouraging learning.

Yesterday, a small group from CCC met up with Loughton Camera Club for a joint photowalk in the sunshine in Camden Market. As a reminder, Andy Bracey will be leading a group at the Bournemouth Air Show on Saturday 2nd September. Please let me know if you would like to join.
