Are you seeking advice for a future PAGB Awards adjudication?
The Awards Workshop at Littleton on 21st October still has three spaces left for advice on PDI submissions. The Prints section is fully booked.
The workshop will be invaluable for anyone planning to try for PAGB Awards in the next couple of years.
Even if you are planning a Print entry and have not been able to book a space, you could still have your images evaluated using PDIs at the workshop!

Anyone interested please contact Pat Goodall on email@example.com
The PAGB Group will start the Chichester Camera Club season with a meeting on Monday 3rd September. This will take place at the usual venue, the small hall in the Tangmere Village Centre.
We will meet at 6.45 pm for a prompt 7.00 pm start. Please come at 6.45 to help set the room up.
The cost remains the same for the coming season £3 for club members and £4 for non-members.
Members are encouraged to bring along prints and/or digital images for in-depth constructive critique. We look forward to seeing you and your images.
This group is designed primarily for Intermediate and Advanced members who are working towards the many distinctions available to them through the PAGB and FIAP distinctions route. The group will also be of interest to those who enjoy submitting images to both National and International Photographic Exhibitions and Salons.
I’m delighted to announce that there were two more distinctions for the club at the PAGBAwards for Photographic Merit Adjudication in Chorley recently. Two members of the PAGB group were successful in gaining their PAGB Awards.
JEFF OWEN was awarded a CPAGB
PETER ROCCHICCIOLI was awarded a DPAGB
These are very highly desired distinctions and very difficult to achieve indeed, requiring a very high standard of photography. Congratulations to these two talented photographers. Below are some sample images from their successful panels.
Above is Jeff’s panel for his CPAGB. He achieved high marks in the adjudication and gained his distinction with plenty to spare!
I’m delighted to announce that Glyn Edmunds has won a Salon Medal at this year’s London Salon of Photography. Over the years only four Chichester Camera Club members have achieved this rare distinction, Glyn now makes this number up to five! Congratulations!
In addition to his medal Glyn has had two images accepted at the salon, the maximum number from any contributor. This is a terrific achievement in a salon where only a very small number of the submitted images are accepted for exhibition.
Glyn is one of our regular advisors at the PAGB Group and we are all very proud of his achievement.
LONDON SALON SUCCESS FOR PETER ROCCHICCIOLI
In addition to Glyn’s success congratulations are also due to PAGB Group member Peter Rocchiccioliwho had an image accepted at The London Salon. This is Peter’s third time having an acceptance at The London Salon, so well done Peter!
Please follow the link below for more information about The London Salon. The nine medal winning images and all of the accepted images are on the website, including those images from Chichester Camera Club members.
Seven members of the group entered and between them achieved 28 acceptances and three awards. It is a great achievement to gain acceptances and awards in this prestigious FIAP & PSA international Salon.
We were delighted to see Ann McDonald and Sheila Tester both receive awards at the Club meeting on Thursday 21st February – and to have Peter Rocchiccioli present them in his role as President of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation. A very ‘well done’ to both!
Sheila Tester, receiving the SCPF Roll of Honour, by the Federation president Peter Rocchiccioli. A distinction which she very well deserved for the work she has put into Chichester Camera Club over ten years, and before that was a member of Marwell Photographic Group. She has served on Chichester’s Management Committee many times, currently as Southern Counties Federation Representative, and is also an active member of the Selection Committee. Sheila is also of course absolutely vital is the success of our Annual and North Mundham Exhibitions where she is our catering supremo. A very well deserved award to Sheila for all her contributions to club photography.
Ann McDonald won the best portrait individual award at the PAGB GB cup for the open projected images for her Portrait of a Lady, and is shown here receiving the award from by the SCPF President Peter Rocchiccioli. This is a great achievement by Ann as there were only eleven awards given nationally and this was also the only one within the SCPF. Many congratulations to Ann for this splendid recognition.
