SxPF presents a FREE talk to its members on
Saturday 21st November 2020 at 7pm till 8pm approx. This talk will be presented by Lawrence Homewood EFIAP BPE2 CPAGB
Title: Access to Photography – 5 Portrait Photographers
Access to Photography – 5 Portrait Photographers
Lawrence Homewood EFIAP as part of his ACCESS TO PHOTOGRAPHY presentations will be looking at five, distinctly different, well known photographers and how their styles differ from each other.
Showing you how they go about photographing their subjects and the end results. The idea behind this presentation is to inspire club photography and show how, within one genre, styles can be so different.
He looks at the work of David Bailey, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson and Steve McCurrey. We critique three images hoping if possible to get audience participation or feedback.
Finally Lawrence concludes his presentation with a working example taken at the Kitsch Studio and Woodlands Gardens where he takes inspiration from all 5 photographers showing you how he set up the studio and obtained his end results. This is a new presentation has been put together during the current lock-down. Time 40 minutes approximately. If you are interested in seeing this online talk we have supplied the links below.

I am delighted to announce that Jim Munday’s image Port in a Storm (above) has been chosen by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) to represent England/Northern Ireland in the FIAP Colour Print Biennial 2019.
It is a great honour for the club that the work of one of our members has been chosen to represent the country in this very prestigious Biennial competition. Congratulations Jim!
Congratulations to Graham Walls who has been enrolled on the Southern Counties Photographic Federation Roll of Honour.
Graham Walls accepting his award from Peter Rocchiccioli, President of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation
Graham is hugely deserving of this award, which is given in recognition of his long service to the Chichester Camera Club. He has been a stalwart of our club for over forty years. In addition to his several years of service as Print Competition Secretary he was also Chairman of our Selection Committee for many years. In this capacity he has been very supportive of our external competitions. He also served on the club committee for an extended period of time. Now in his late eighties, he continues to work for the club, each Thursday he still sets out all the chairs for the meeting before any of the other members have even arrived.
Congratulations Graham, the club is very proud of your achievment.

Secretary, SCPFHello Sue,Could you please circulate this email to all camera clubs in the SCPF area.PLEASE BE AWAREA fraudster has obtained names & email addresses of our club chairman & club secretary & has sent an email in the name of the chairman using a slightly altered club chairman email address to the club secretary email address using both of our names as stated on the club website. The email from the chairman is asking me, the secretary, to pay an outstanding invoice for unspecified goods. I am 99% sure that the fraudster has got the details of myself & the chairman from our website as they are the only contact details stated on our website.Should any other club have a similiar attempt made to demand that an invoice be paid by your club for unspecified goods, please notify me at pjs28jack@googlemail.com & I will co-ordinate the details to be past on to the police fraud section.Thank you.—
