Newsflash. It’s flaming hot and I’m melting.

That said there are some very important pieces of news for members in this newsletter, so please take some time to read them. Particularly those relating to our Annual Exhibition and the members pre exhibition meeting at Tangmere where I sincerely hope to see good a turn out.

An update on the funeral of our dear friend Graham Sergeant. First to remind you that it’s next Wednesday at 11.30am at the Oak Crematorium, Barton’s Road, Havant, PO95NA. Carol has asked that flowers are only expected from the family, however donations in memory of Graham would be most welcome and is for Cancer Research UK via Moore’s Traditional Funeral Directors in Southbourne.

Now. I need some strong and fit guys to load the An/Ex equipment into the van on the evening of Thursday 4th from Ann McDonalds and Tangmere. Also at 08.00 Hrs on Friday 5th to carry it into the assembly room and set it all up. Currently I have four for Thursday, two more required, and six on Friday, six more required. As we have to be mounting our prints at 10 on the Friday it shouldn’t be a problem to arrive earlier at 8. Please mail me at chair@chichestercamerclub.org.uk as soon as possible to volunteer. It’s our exhibition and your help is needed.

Okay. Request over and just a reminder to make sure you know exactly what you need to do when hanging your prints. Instructions are in this newsletter.

Take care all and let’s hope we have a fantastic An/Ex week.

Mike
