Annual Exhibition

It was certainly good to be back, to be made so welcome by the Assembly Room staff, to meet old friends and to see and chat about prints after our long gap and a cause for congratulations to have seen through a success Annual Exhibition.

The success of the exhibition is down to contributions from so many , and thanks are due to you all.

Whether that was submitting images, helping with the set up and get out, in the kitchen, volunteering with the judging and selection processes or stewarding, without your help none of this would have been possible.

Special thanks are due to the valiant Working Group who have steered the complex logistics of the exhibition so cheerfully and competently. To Jeff Owen for all the technical support; to Andy Dulson for all the image entry work and the magnificent catalogue; to Peter Rocchiccioli for managing all the judging and selection process; to Linda Bullimore (get well soon Linda!) for managing the stewarding rota and to Madeleine Craggs for stepping in with that; to Sarah Nichol for the buffet and refreshment organisation; to Dave Abbott for getting the trophies all in order and with David Harris keeping the spreadsheet updated during judging and selection as well as David’s care with all the financial side, and to Vivien Ruddock for all the excellent work on publicity – and thanks to Chris Worsley, now taking over as Exhibition Secretary for her support too.

Any uncollected prints can be picked up at our first meeting of the new season, that’s Thursday 1st September. And now for a date for the diaries – the Annual Exhibition will be back in 2023 with the Preview on Friday 4th August and open to the public from Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th August.
