Tony Walsh LRPS

I am sorry to have to let members know of the death of Tony Walsh on Friday last. Tony, Sue Nash’s Dad, was a long-time Club member who, along with his wife, Alice, was an enthusiastic contributor to Club activities until his declining health made that impossible.

Sue is grateful for all the support members gave both her Dad and her as it became increasingly difficult for Tony as his dementia worsened. Tony had moved into residential care and valued the visits he had from Club friends. He had his 90th birthday earlier this year but sadly with lockdown making it impossible for his family to visit since March, although  Alice had been with him earlier on Friday and the family valued the care the home gave.

Our thoughts are with Alice, Sue, her sister and their families.
