Exhibition weekend update

The Advanced workers’ exhibition at North Mundham is well underway and looks great. A wide and creative range of not-to-be-missed images, and a warmly social atmosphere, with lots of familiar visitors from neighbouring clubs. And cake!

On Thursday we had what might easily have been a promotional presentation by the Namibian tourism organisation. Scott Hurd treated us to a fascinating show, featuring the people, wildlife and topography of his adopted home country, in an engaging and fluent presentation. At the end, he teased us with some coastal shots from another lecture, to ensure we invite him back in the future.

The Club had great success in the recent PAGB Cup and Trophy competitions and the individual scores are listed below. Congratulations to all the participants.

On Monday, the PAGB Group will meet at Tangmere at 6:45 for 7pm. More details below.

The deadline for entries into the 2nd Club/Intermediate PDI competition is 8th February and for the 5th round of the Small Print competition, it’s 15th February.

Don’t forget to sign up for the February photowalk – The Weald and Downland Museum on February 10th, meeting at the entrance at 10:30am. Please let me know if you are able to join.

Remember also to send your seconded nomination for our President for the 2024/25 season.
