Digital Group ZOOM Meeting September 28 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

The first digital imaging group meeting will be carried out using Zoom. Given the huge range of skills in the club, designing a programme to suit everybody is going to be a challenge, so I thought we would kick off this year by going back to first principles and providing a basic overview of what Digital Processing is all about. So we will be looking at why we need to process our images, file formats and what software is available.

The second part is designed to help new members and people not confident in uploading images for competitions. This part will cover the basics of preparing images for our competitions and how to upload them to PhotoComp. Also covering how to change images in PhotoComp, set the title correctly etc.

Moving forwards, I would like feedback from attendees and members as to what topics they would like to see covered for further sessions in the year. I am also looking for volunteers to present topics.
