Chair

Hi All,

Just back from a brilliant week in Suffolk. We should have been a four but unfortunately our friend went down with bout of the dreaded Covid so Pip and I had to talk to each other all week. We survived though.

I had a very sad mail from John Bradshaw, informing me that the lovely Graham Sergeant, pictured above, passed away last Tuesday. Graham, as you know, was a long term member and very well known for his AV work, some of which we have seen at the club. He will be sadly missed by all and our thoughts are with the family. I’m led to believe that the funeral will be close family only but it is hoped that there will be a gathering sometime in the future to celebrate his life. Further details will be posted at a later date.

On a happier note, I am delighted to announce that Sue Nash has volunteered to be our Vice Chair next season so will be co-opted onto the committee to support our chair David Pritchard.

Lastly, I am pleased to say that the Annual Exhibition working party has made very good progress and feel that this years exhibition will be up to our normal excellent standard. It will be the first for three years so here’s hoping it will be a roaring success.

All the best.

Mike
