Chair

Well, who’d have thought there was so much to consider and so many hurdles to jump to publish a book. It was an interesting account by Astrid explaining it all to us and I thought she did a great job.

You can connect with Astrid via her vision chat at http://www.astridmcgechan.com/

Just to remind you that the RPS Documentary Group have organised a photowalk in Brighton this Sunday 20th. Meet at the i360 on the sea front at 2pm for a brief chat then split into small groups. Please contact Jeff Owen at docse@rps.org if you plan to attend.

Hilary Featherstone, who is our link with the Hospice, is looking for two panoramic photos, preferably scenery, from the Hospice catchment area which is Midhurst to Selsey and Emsworth to Arundel, that they could print on canvas to hang in their gallery. If any member has such a print that they are happy to share please email them to Hilary at the following address, hilaryfeatherstone@hotmail.co.uk.

Finally, and I’m not giving up on this, the club needs two volunteers for next season to undertake the roles of Vice Chair and Programme Secretary. You all know that these posts are essential for our club to function so please give a few hours of your time to help maintain the high standards that we set in the photographic world. It’s your club and it needs your support.

Next week is the 2nd Club/Inter print comp and we welcome Glyn Paton as our judge. So I look forward to seeing you all there.

Stay safe.

Mike
