Hi All,
A very busy night at Tangmere and our sincere thanks to our judge Steve Kirby for his patience and understanding.
We had the pleasure of the company of Ann Eckersley, President of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation, who presented a series of awards as follows.
To Ross Laney and Ann MacDonald, who came second and third respectively at the SCPF 2022 exhibition, to our club as best entry winners in the same exhibition, to Lorna Brown for attaining her DAPG and to Sue Watts for meritorious service to Hayling and Chichester clubs and to the Federation. Our congratulations to them all for their achievements.

On a serious note we still have some posts to fill for next season. I have rattled on about this for some time but it is now becoming more important as we move to the end of this season. We need volunteers for the following, Vice Chair, Programme Secretary, Annual Exhibition Secretary and a representative for the Regnum Crouch and Sussex Fed. Please give some serious consideration to taking up one of these posts.
Finally, Heather Buckle has kindly explored for the benefit of members, a photographic coach trip for 24 persons to Greenwich on Sunday 24th April. The coach will leave from Tangmere Village Centre at 09.30am and return at around 16.30pm giving about 5-51/2 hours of photo time. It’s an opportunity to see the Queens House, the National Maritime Museum, the Cutty sark, the Royal Observatory, the Navel College and lots of other great photographic sites. The cost is £27 per head which seems very reasonable. My place is booked so I hope that there will be enough interest to fill the coach. If you are interested please let me know at chair@chichestercameraclub.org.uk as soon as possible.
Next week we are in the company of David Keep and it will be a zoom meeting only. NO ATTENDANCE AT TANGMERE.
