Digital Group Zoom Meeting, 26th April

This month we will have a masterclass from John Bradshaw. He is going to show a variety of recent manipulations for his current projects. These range from hand colouring, overlays, and complex blendings to digital bromoils and platinum look alikes. This promises to be a fascinating and informative evening even if for me, stretching!

Digital Imaging group zoom meeting Tuesday 22nd March

This month Lorna has promised to introduce to / remind us of the processes that she uses when printing from Lightroom. I’m sure that most of what she has to say, particularly about proofing before printing and using profiles, will be applicable to all processing packages, so join us on Zoom to ensure that all your printing will be less hit and miss!

Spring Exhibition Reminders

This is now only 3 weeks away! If you have not already registered
there are a some boards left. Just go to the Exhibitions page on the website, download the registration form and email it to me at nicholsarahccc@gmail.com  as soon as possible.

For those already registered just a reminder that you need to email your personal statement to me by 24th March (next week). I also need a hanging plan in colour of your proposed exhibit by 24th March.  I would prefer if this could be a paper copy but understand that some of you may not yet be coming to the club.  In which case you can email it to me. This is so that we can coordinate the Exhibition.

If you are entering PDIs they should be entered via the usual method on the club website.  Jeff has extended the deadline for this until at least this Sunday, 20th March.

We need prizes for the raffle, a bottle or a box of chocolates or the like, and, nearer the time, cakes, preferably home made, for refreshments.

Next week I shall begin to ask for volunteers for collecting the stands and helping with putting up the display boards for the exhibition as well as various jobs during the weekend.

Final call for Spring Exhibition Entries

YOUR ENTRY FORM MUST BE IN BY NEXT THURSDAY, 10th MARCH

This is your chance to show your work in any way you want. A single large image, a collage , a triptych or a more conventional arrangement. Your images can be mounted in any way you like – foam-board has been popular in the past. And don’t forget that Jeff will put together a PDI show as well. The only qualification is that you are in either Club or Intermediate for the category that you are entering.

If you are intending to enter but have not yet decided what don’t worry but it would be great to know so please fill in the entry form which you can find in the link below and email it to me.
