Storrington camera club have informed us that there are two vacant places on a trip to the Camargue April 15-18. West Dean College is hosting a gardening lecture with a photographic input. It is titled ‘The Oudolf Gardens at Hauser and Wirth Somerset’.
This lecture will discuss Jason Ingram and Rory Dusoir’s latest collaboration which is a book about the gardens. Included in this lecture will be a unique insight by Jason Ingram into photographing the gardens.

Volk’s Electric Railway in Brighton will be running their first ever ‘Volk’s Railway Night Time Photography Experience’ on Friday March 20th .
They are working with John Fox (an award-winning press photographer) and it will be an opportunity for guests to come to the railway, have a little background tour of our depot and workshop (with opportunities to take photographs), ride our railway, learn about its history and then receive a night photography masterclass from John. After that, our trains will all be positioned at the depot and our Halfway Station for a couple of hours of shooting in the dark.

Alton Camera Club are hosting the above championship, which CCC will be entering, and invite CCC members to attend. It will be held between 10am-5pm, Sunday 29th March at the Alton Assembly Rooms, High Street, Alton and admission is free. Suggested public car parks: GU34 1HN or GU34 1AU as there is no parking on site.
Prints are required for St Wilfreds and Sage house. Please bring as many as you like to next weeks meeting. A box will be available on the night.
The selection committee are requesting more prints to consider for entry into the forthcoming SCPF championship. Would all members please bring any prints they feel would do well along to the club over the next two Thursday meetings.
As I mentioned at last nights meeting, we have the opportunity of entering a national ballot that if successful would allow three of our members to attend a workshop in Scotland. We must have three interested members to enter and the cost would be £740 per member. The workshops are as follows, ‘Badgers in Bluebells’ (20 – 24 May) and ‘Autumnal Images’ (21 – 25 October). These workshops will be hosted by the Natural History photographer Laurie Campbell. Entry must be by March 5th.
