Weekly update

Thursday’s 3rd round of the Advanced PDI competition was very well attended, in spite of the bad weather. Our intended judge, Tony Oliver, had to withdraw at the last minute but the evening was saved by Chris Dixon, who kindly stood in and did a great job, especially at such short notice.

The scoring was very even after the first two rounds, with 10 members being within 2.5 points of the lead. Chris Gledhill achieved an impressive two 10s in the final round but the overall winner of the league was Lynne Owen, so hearty congratulations Lynne. One of her top-scoring images is featured here.

Some reminders: the Print Group will meet at Tangmere on Tuesday 14th March and the RPS Group on the 21st. Hanging plans and personal statements for the Spring Exhibition need to be with Sarah by 24th March. The Panels competition will be held on 6th April, with entries being accepted on the night. Finally, the submission deadline for the 3rd Advanced print competition is also 6th April.
