Weekly Update

The 2nd Advanced PDI competition was judged on Thursday by Andrew Mills (https://www.photomills.co.uk/). Andrew stated that he enjoyed experimentation, imagination and expression and scored consistently with this. As he stated – a really high standard of photography at CCC. Christmas Social Thursday 12th December 19.00 – 21.30

Our Thursday evenings are so packed that it is difficult to have a long sociable break . We hate cutting short your chats at the coffee break but in order to keep the evening to time and prevent us leaving well after 22.00 it needs to be done. The Management Committee hope that members will take advantage of joining us for a whole evening of socialising – Please with print you would like to enter into our informal Xmas competition with the theme: ‘My Favourite Gift.’ Members can submit one mounted print (any size) that will be displayed on our print stands, along with the title if you would like to include one. All members present on the evening will vote for their favourite print, placing them in first, second and third place. This means that members will be able to socialise for the first half of the evening too, while viewing the prints and discussing the merits of each. If you are relatively new to the club, do please take this opportunity to get to know your fellow members – we will look after you. Bring along some finger food to share and if you would like something other than tea and coffee then do bring along drink too.
