Weekly update
The new season got off to a great start last night with an excellent presentation from Chris Palmer FRPS (etc) to a record audience of 63, including 15 new members. His title was ‘The Eloquent Landscape’ and Chris illustrated his very thoughtful approach to composition with some beautiful and imaginative images from Iceland (one featured), as well as closer to home. Mostly, they were taken using a 70-200mm lens and always using a tripod. A very good evening! Chris will be back with us in April, to judge the Print Panel competition.
On a more mundane note, prints submitted for the Annual Exhibition which were not selected will be available for collection at Tangmere for the next two Thursdays.
Some reminders:
The Print Group will meet at Tangmere on Tuesday 12th September. 7:15pm for a 7:30 start. George Atkins DPAGB has kindly agreed to lead the group – many thanks George.
The competition programme will begin with the 1st round of the Club/Intermediate PDI league. Entries are due by 28th September. Time to showcase your summer photography!
