Weekly update

Last night was the final Club and Intermediate print competition, very well judged by Steve Kirkby. John Strickland headed the Club league and takes the Brieley Cup. Richard Paterson’s two 10s on the night consolidated his top position in the Intermediate league, giving him an impressive average of 9.4 over the whole season, as well as the Simcox Trophy. One of Richard’s images is featured. Hearty congratulations to both winners.

Next Thursday (25th) will be the last meeting of the season and will feature a talk entitled ‘Creative Landscapes’ by Rachael Talibart, which you won’t want to miss.

Glyn Edmunds will be leading his popular street photowalks in Chichester at 10am on 22nd, 23rd and 30th May. Please let me know at mailto:chair@chichestercameraclub.org.uk if you would like to join.

The Developers’ Group will meet at Tangmere at 7:15 for 7:30pm on Monday 22nd (see details below) but the Digital Group meeting planned for the 23rd has been cancelled.

Andy Bracey is leading a group at the Hawk Conservancy Trust tomorrow (Saturday) and Jem Berry will be at Hiorne Tower, Arundel Park that same evening for another astrophotography session, cloud conditions permitting. Again, please let me know if you would like to join.

Middleton Camera Club will be celebrating their 60th anniversary on June 19th with a presentation entitled ‘My passion for photography’ by Will Cheung FRPS. Tickets are available from https://moscameraclub.weebly.com
