New Season

The new programme year starts with the first full Club meeting on Thursday 6th September.  Glyn has performed his usual miracle and provided for us another outstanding progamme with something for everyone.  We start on 6th with the individual style of Viveca Koh  on the ‘Joy of Seeing’.  Viveca’s lecture in 2017  drew the biggest audience of the year and we just keep clamouring for more so it is an evening not to be missed.  That is followed on Thursday 13th by a presentation by Rachael Talibart and the most wonderful coastal photography.  I do urge everyone to look at her website to be truly inspired.  I look forward to seeing as many you as possible at these events.

Before all of that we are holding the Welcome meeting for new members on Thursday 30th August to which all mentors and Sub Group leaders are invited.  This year we have a really good cross section of ‘newbies’ with many experienced photographers (including a number with  ARPS, CPAGB and LRPS qualifications) as well as those for whom Chichester is their first Camera Club, just starting on their photographic journey.  All are equally welcome so do make yourselves known to them at the coffee breaks and show the real Chichester hospitality.
