Digital Imaging Group Tuesday 22nd November

This group will meet at 7.15 for 7.30 pm. on Tuesday 22nd at Tangmere.

Jeff Owen has offered to show us these digital imaging techniques in Lightroom, Photoshop, Darktable and Affinity

Part 1: Black and White conversion in Lightroom, PS, Darktable and Affinity. Jeff will explain the basic principles of B&W conversions and showi how to convert the same image in each platform to B&W. He will also hope to cover basic masking to enhance images in each as well

Part 2: Retouching using Frequency Separation in Affinity, Darktable and Photoshop. This is a technique ( a bit like cloning on steroids) whereby you can preserve high detail whilst retouching. Often used in portraits to remove blemishes without ending up with plastic skin or cloning fine details such as hair.
