Chair’s update

We won! Last night, Chichester beat entries from Henfield, Littlehampton, Storrington and Southwick camera clubs to win the Regnum Print Competition and with it the Charles Howard Shield. We organised and hosted the event, which ran very smoothly. Thanks and congratulation to everyone involved and particularly to Glyn Edmunds as a very efficient event coordinator and to our Selection Committee. Thanks also to Marrutt for their kind and generous sponsorship and to our excellent judge, David Smith. Notably, Chichester’s entries were restricted to Club and Intermediate members, whereas the others were open. Nick Hepworth scored a maximum of 20, with ‘Sentinel’ and entries from Richard Patterson and John Strickland were commended. The featured image was the overall winner and is by Dean Sephton of Storrington Camera Club. Many congratulations to him.

Congratulations also to Louise Le Good on winning the first two rounds of the Small Print competition.

Reminders: The Developers’ Group will meet on Monday 21st November and the Digital Group on Tuesday 22nd – see below. The closing date for the next round of the Small Print competition is 24th November.
