Chair’s update

On Thursday, we hosted the first round of the Southern Counties’ Photographic Federation’s PDI League, with Gordon Brown as judge. The 8 clubs in Division 1 each showed 8 images and the same images will be reviewed by 7 other judges as the competition progresses. After Round 1, we were in 7th place, so let’s hope the other judges take a more favourable view!

On the 17th November, we will be hosting the Regnum Crouch inter-club competition, in which our Club Class and Intermediate members will be representing the club.

On Saturday, we were due to meet Loughton Camera Club for a joint photowalk in Brighton. Unfortunately, Loughton had to cancel, because of transport problems but the Chichester contingent had an enjoyable day of street photography, topped off with a murmuration display by the starlings around Palace Pier, in the setting sun.

As a reminder, 24th November is the closing date for the next round of the Small Print competition.
