I said to James Kerwin last night, that as this was our last meeting of the season so I hope he takes us out with a bang and boy he did. It was a great presentation with lots of tips on planning and composition allied to brilliant images. My eternal thanks to our programme secretary, Sue Watts, whose tireless work brought us some fantastic speakers over the course of the season.

Today is your last chance to upload images for the PDI of the year and the Annual Exhibition and please don’t forget to put August 5th into your diaries for our pre exhibition meeting when we will announce all our winners for the season. The exhibition will go live August 7th.

Congratulations to those who had images accepted into the PAGB ‘Master of Prints’ competition.

Sadly I have to report the passing of Connie Ellison a past member of the club. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

Once again I am asking for two volunteers to manage the Print and Digital groups next season. Without a lead the continuation of these important groups within the club is in jeopardy. It is not a difficult or onerous task and help and assistance is available.

Finally, I wish you all a wonderful summer break and look forward, hopefully, to seeing you at Tangmere in September and I will keep you updated over the course of the summer break.
