Weekly Update – Breathless in Nepal
This evening we have a talk by Julian Elliott – ‘BREATHLESS IN NEPAL’. Julian is an award-winning professional freelance landscape and travel photographer as well as an occasional writer who constantly travels the world. He is basically a nomad traveller. A lot of his time is spent in South-East Asia and Central Asia capturing landscapes and cityscapes along with the various cultures that inhabit them. In April 2022, Julian made the journey into Nepal taking in some of the festivities around the New Year. But the main purpose of his trip was to go to Upper Mustang. An autonomous region up at the Chinese border, going to Upper Mustang is like stepping back in time. It also comes with complexities too which just adds to the experience. This talk will take you through the ins and outs of this epic journey into a little visited area of Nepal. https://www.julianelliottphotography.com/
