Weekly update
What a way to end the season! Rachael Talibart was the star turn when she presented her ‘Time and Tide’ talk on Thursday, featuring her amazing images of oceans, coasts and wild seas. She is an accomplished speaker as well as a very talented photographer and gave us a grand finale. She also introduced us to Nazaré, on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, which boasts the highest waves in the world and will no doubt become a magnet for photographers.
This was her third appearance at the Club but it was also her very last presentation to any club, as she will be concentrating in future on the commercial and educational aspects of her photographic business.
Preparation for the Annual Exhibition is well underway, with ‘stickering’ next Tuesday and judging by Ken Scott on 6th June. We still need volunteers to help with stewarding, catering and ‘heavy mob’ duties. Please contact mailto:stewarding@chichestercameraclub.org.uk if you can help. The schedule showing where there are gaps is on the website at Exhibitions>Annual Exhibition>Annual Exhibition 23 Rota.
The RPS Digital Imaging Group, Southern Centre, will be hosting presentations entitled ‘The Water’s Edge’ and ‘The Intimate Landscape’ by Tony Worobiec FRPS in Ringwood on 9th July. Tickets from https://bit.ly/RPSDISouthern-TW.
Have an enjoyable and productive summer!
