RPS Group Tuesday 21st March
The RPS Group meets again in March for all those interested in exploring the accreditations offered by the Royal Photographic Society.
You’ll be very welcome whether you are thinking about projects for the higher distinctions – the Associate and Fellowships – the first, Licentiate level, whether you have work to share of are just interested in finding out more.
The LRPS award is really about showing your camera craft and photography skills, while the two higher levels require high level skills and are subject based, for instance landscape, visual art or documentary.
An important element of submitting work to the RPS is to demonstrate that you have considered how the images (10 for LRPS, 15 for ARPS and 20/21 for FRPS) work when they are displayed together – the ‘panel’. This is a really useful skill to have, not least for the Club’s forthcoming Print Panel Competition and the Annual Exhibition. If you’d like to learn more you’ll be very welcome even if you don’t think the distinctions are for you.
we meet at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start in the small hall at Tangmere Village Centre – £3 for members and £4 for visitors.
