North Mundham – All Members Update
It’s just four weeks now to North Mundham and things are very nicely shaping up, but we’re still very much in need of volunteers. Please remember it is an all Club event, even if only Advanced members can exhibit, just as the Spring Exhibition on 28th and 29th March when Intermediate and Club Class members get to show their work is a whole Club event. So do please sign up to help and make North Mundham the successful event we all enjoy.
Catering rota – Sarah Nichol is still in need of volunteers with the refreshments and lunches. You can find the kitchen rota here North Mundham catering but you’ll need to let Sarah know what times you can do, not sign up online. The exhibitions email address to use is on the link page. Sarah will also be looking for donations of cakes.
Saturday 7th February Evening meal – the evening meal is once again organised for us by Chris Worsley and her team and is open to all Club members, but it’s on a first come basis as spaces are limited. You can find the booking form here Evening meal
Photobooks – all members, not just Advanced can also bring along any photobooks you’d like to show. Exhibitors can do that on the Friday evening when we set up, otherwise on the Saturday morning.
Greetings cards – there’s an opportunity to sell your greetings cards too, again open to all members. We do need volunteers to take care of that table please, let me know if you can help cover.
Set -Up and kit moving – our strong arm gang really need some help in getting all the kit to and from the hall. Mike Harris is looking for volunteers, especially from younger, fitter Club members! Please, please give us a hand!
Publicity – we know that word of mouth is the most effective way we encourage visitors to our exhibitions, so please spread the word. There are flyers and A4 posters available at the Club and you can use the image below on social media accounts.
Parking – the car park at North Mundham is also used for the adjacent playing fields and can get very busy if there are matches. We can’t control this, but be aware it might be a challenge to park especially in the mornings.
Otherwise – do come along, it’s a special chance to spend social time together, talk to the exhibitors and find out about their approach to photography and of course enjoy the cakes and lunches!
