Our last meeting had Phil Shaw cover many aspects of mounting prints, using different print papers and how to select the right mount colour. Phil also touched on mount cutting and proffesionally cut mounts.

Linda Bulimore has kindly provided a handy guide to cutting your own mounts, which you can find here.

Towards the end of the meeting Phil looked at an image from Mat and suggested ways to improve it.

We are starting to plan the next meeting. As always we would like to see your own work, either as prints or digital. There was a lot of interest in the new free Affinity program, so we will try to cover that. In the meantime this video provides a good introduction.
