Club Vouchers

About Vouchers

We have agreed to bring in a voucher system to make it easier for you searching for £1s to pay for raffle, refreshments and Special Interest Groups.

There are two types of vouchers, £1 and £3. They are credit card sized and designed to be easy to carry and store in purses and wallets.

The £1 vouchers may be exchanged for items costing £1, such as raffle tickets and drinks and go towards other purchases like Group attendance fees. £1 vouchers are sold in blocks of 10.

The £3 vouchers are designed for Group attendance fees. They are also sold in blocks of 10.

The vouchers look like this:

Buying and Using Vouchers

Vouchers may be purchased on club evenings or at Group meetings. We would prefer that they are bought using cash at busy times. If a sum up machine is available, they may be purchased using that.

Vouchers will be authorised when bought by being signed and dated. You may sign your voucher on the front.

As each purchase is made the voucher will either be stamped or marked with a pen. This shows an authorised voucher that has been used twice. The first time marked with a stamp and the second time marked with a pen.

Conditions

Only authorised vouchers are valid. Also, vouchers may not be exchanged for cash. For example, a £3 voucher may not be used to buy a single drink or raffle ticket. It must be used for the equivalent £3, i.e. 3 drinks or 3 raffle tickets, or one Group attendance fee.

Redeeming unused vouchers

Members may ask the Treasurer to refund any unused voucher monies. Only the Treasurer may do a refund. Unused voucher credits may not be exchanged for cash unless authorised by the Treasurer.
