Weekly update

Thursday’s presentation by Gerald Chamberlin DPAGB, EFIAP was an interestingly different mix of B&W, infra-red and live Photoshop, where he demonstrated the processes he had used to modify lighting and contrast – and to add the occasional rook. Several of his images were taken at re-enactment events, including the one featured here.

A new competition has just been launched to find the Deer Photographer of the Year. See https://www.dpoty.com/. Entries close on 30th November 2023.

The deadline for submissions for the 1st Club/Inter PDI competition has been extended to 5th October, to give new members more time to prepare. Your mentor will be pleased to guide you through the process, if you would like to enter.

Note that the Developer’s Group will be meeting on Monday 18th September and the RPS Group on the 19th, both at Tangmere. More information is below.

The Selection Committee have now chosen the images which will represent the Club in the SCPF competitions and the PAGB National Championship, where we will be representing the Southern Counties Federation. Details below.
