Weekly update
This week, several small groups have been polishing their street photography in Chichester with tour guide Glyn Edmunds. Humour seems to have been the main ingredient of each day and even those who are not sold on ‘street’ had a great time socially. Day two’s group is pictured. Thank you Glyn – it was great fun.
Thursday’s lecture was by talented nature photographer, Sue Morris, whose excellent images came from both captive and wild situations at home and abroad and were presented in a warm and amusing style.
Congratulations to the overall winners of the Small Print competition. After 5 rounds, John Strickland came first with ‘Walking by’; second was Phoebe Hamilton with ‘Take the tube, Ben’ and Carol Bond was third with ‘All white’.
Some reminders: the RPS Group will meet at Tangmere on Tuesday 21st March. In addition to its usual work on RPS distinctions, the group will welcome anyone intending to enter the Panel Competition on 6th April who would like help with a panel layout. Prints are still required for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
From Tuesday 21st until 2nd April, the Focus Group of expert photographers, which includes four of our own members, will be exhibiting at the Oxmarket Gallery. 10am-4:30pm.
