The Road to Sitges: Lee Miller, Roland Penrose and Picasso

Wednesday 25th June Assembly Rooms Chichester 18.30 – 20.00

As part of the Festival of ChichesterAntony Penrose talks about his famous parents’ journey, begun in pre-war Paris and ending in 1970s Sitges. It’s a tale of intimate friendship and their involvement in the Spanish Civil War and WW2. Art was for them a rich, cultural collaboration, with political, moral significance, shared love, passion and loyalties that never died.
