SCPF Print League Rounds 3 & 4
On Wednesday, I travelled to Yateley Camera Club to see Round 3 of the SCPF Print League, judged by Rob Bonfield. New Forest won this round with 69 points, Yateley were second with 68 and we were third with 66. Three clubs tied with 66 points but the countback put us ahead of the other two as we had one print that scored a 10 – “Eurasian Hoopoe Feeding Chick” by Ian Roberts.
Last night, Round 4 was judged by Jason Hyde at Newbury. This time Winchester won with 69 points, we were second with 65 and New Forest were third, also scoring 65. Once again it was Ian Roberts’ “Eurasian Hoopoe Feeding Chick” scoring another 10 that gave us the advantage in the countback.
We are now halfway through the print league competitions and are currently top of Division 1 of the League, six points ahead of New Forest and eight points ahead of Yateley. Our top-scoring print so far has been Ian’s Hoopoes, which has only dropped half a mark over the four rounds.
The next round will be hosted by Winchester on 6th January, judged by Jon Mitchell.
Details of all the fixtures can be found on the SCPF website here, along with the current league table.
