SCPF Print League Rounds 1 & 2
The first two rounds of the SCPF Print League took place this week and we’ve got off to a very good start.
The first round was hosted by Fordingbridge Camera Club on Wednesday and judged by Maria Leekblade. We won this round, three points ahead of New Forest and had three 10s awarded:
- “Hyena Scavenging for Food” by Ian Roberts
- “Flying Rugby Tackle” by Julia Wainwright
- “Fight for Life” by Julia Wainwright
The second round was hosted by Basingstoke Camera Club on Thursday and judged by Micki Aston. This time we came second, just half a point behind Southampton but beating Newbury on the countback. Again, we had three 10s awarded:
- “Boatman and Branch” by Ann McDonald
- “Flying Rugby Tackle” by Julia Wainwright
- “Fight for Life” by Julia Wainwright
These results put us in first place in the league, three points above both Newbury and Southampton, with six rounds to go.
The Print League table is available on the SCPF website here and it also shows the dates for each of the eight fixtures in the league.
The next round will be at Havant Camera Club on 26th November, judged by Carl Reeve then two days later you will get to see these prints being judged by David Smith at Tangmere for our home round.
