SCPF Print League Champions
On Wednesday I went to Highcliffe & Infinity Photography Club for the final round of this season’s SCPF Print League. We had a healthy six-point lead over Winchester going into this round so as long as we avoided a disastrous result we would end the season at the top of the division.
Once again we did it in style, winning the round with four prints held back, two of which scored 10 points:
- “Early Morning Tiger Sighting” by Phil Shaw
- “Powering Through the Bend” by Jim Munday
This result means we are the SCPF Print League Champions for the second year running, eight points ahead of Winchester. The final league table is available on the SCPF website here.
Our three highest-scoring prints over the eight rounds this season have been:
- “Eurasian Hoopoe Feeding Chick” by Ian Roberts which scored 76.5
- “Powering Through the Bend” by Jim Munday which scored 74
- “Black Grouse Reaching for Bud” by Julia Wainwright which scored 69
The top scoring print will go forward to represent the club at the Finals day at Littleton in May and this year it is Eurasian Hoopoe Feeding Chick by Ian Roberts.
The PDI League still has three rounds left and the next round will be hosted by New Forest on 12th March. We are currently top of Division 1, six points above New Forest.
