SCPF PDI League Round 6
While we were enjoying Louise Welcome’s presentation on Thursday, the New Forest Camera Club were busy hosting the sixth round of the SCPF PDI League, judged by Tony Oliver.
It was a good result for Chichester, we tied with Blandford Forum for first place on 69.5 points but were pushed into second place on the countback. Southampton and New Forest were tied for third place on 66.5 points with Southampton winning that countback.
We had one 10 – “Iberian Lynx Kittens Playfighting” by Ian Roberts.
This result means we are still top of division 1 and have retained our six-point lead over Blandford Forum, with just two more rounds to go.
At the end of the season, the top-scoring PDI will represent the club at the SCPF Finals Day. Currently our highest-scoring PDIs over the six rounds this season are:
- “Goshawk Confrontation” by Ian Roberts which has scored 56.5
- “Iberian Lynx Kittens Playfighting” by Ian Roberts which has scored 55.5
- “Bee Eaters Passing Bee” by Ann McDonald which has scored 54
- “Great White Egrets Warning to The Heron” by Phil Shaw which has scored 54
The next round is at Yateley Camera Club on Wednesday 18th March, judged by Peter Orr, with the final round taking place the next day, hosted by the Disabled Photographers Society.
