SCPF PDI League Champions

The final two rounds of the SCPF PDI League were held this week with us starting at the top of the division, six points ahead of Blandford Forum.

We came 4th in round 7 at Yateley, judged by Peter Orr but won round 8, which was held via Zoom by the Disabled Photographers Society, judged by Andy Smith.

These results mean that we are the SCPF PDI Champions, finishing eight points ahead of Blandford Forum and nine points ahead of New Forest.

The final league table is available on the SCPF website here.

Our three highest-scoring PDIs over the eight rounds this season have been:

  • “Goshawk Confrontation” by Ian Roberts which scored 74
  • “Great White Egrets Warning to The Heron” by Phil Shaw which scored 72.5
  • “Iberian Lynx Kittens Playfighting” by Ian Roberts which scored 72

The top scoring PDI will go forward to represent the club at the Finals day at Littleton in May and this year it is Goshawk Confrontation by Ian Roberts.

Just a reminder that the club is taking part in the SCPF Championships at Littleton on Sunday – see my earlier post. This is free to attend and all club members are welcome. We will have 15 PDIs and 15 prints being judged to decide which clubs will represent the SCPF at the PAGB Championships later in the year.
