Regnum Print Competition

Friday saw the judging of our Club and Intermediate images in the external Regnum Print Competition. This was a well-attended evening with plenty of guests from many of the participating Clubs. Sadly, only Clare managed to attend from Chichester but hopefully a few more of our members might think of attending in the future to support the Club’s participation in this competition. The judging by Simon and Sarah Bedwell was interesting and very thorough. They had already viewed the images and commented on how some of the “quieter” images had had a chance to grow on them.

The competition was won by Littlehampton & District CC with 137 points and Chichester CC came fourth with 132 points – there were only 2 points between second and fourth so it was close! Our individual scores (out of 20) were:

Great Crested Grebe                                                       Matthew Thompson        13

Bude Sea Pool                                                                    Carmel Lynch                     14

Kumbh Mela Pilgrim                                                        Clare Gordon-Pullar         14

Portrait of a Pelican                                                         Angela Wright                    19

Determination                                                                   Mike Taylor                         20

On the Prowl                                                                      Mike Taylor                         18

Littlehampton Haar                                                         Angela Wright                    16

Yellow Billed Oxpecker on a Cape Buffalow            Mike Taylor                         18

Thank you to the photographers who submitted their images. The next competition is in March for the Crouch PDI Competition. Please hold the date of 19th March 2026 so that we can attend in force!
