Photowalks
The new season’s photowalks programme will begin on Saturday 11th October with an outing led by Charlie Allison at Amberley Museum for their Steampunk Festival. For those who, like me, have never been to a steampunk festival, it involves people dressing up in Victorian costumes and operating steam-powered machinery, so there should be some good photo opportunities. The event opens at 10am and it is advisable to get there early, as the car park has limited space. Admission is by ticket, which you should book asap, as numbers are limited and it is expected to be popular. It is free for members of the museum and otherwise costs £18. If you are interested, please let me know at mailto:secretary@chichestercameraclub.org.uk. As always, you attend the Club’s photowalks at your own risk. The museum’s website is at http://www.amberleymuseum.co.uk.
The second photowalk is being led by Brian Muir and Giles Smith and will be for street photographers in Brighton. Save the date, which is Sunday November 16th.
