Developers’ Group Monday 16th September

7.15 for 7.30pm prompt start in the Small Hall at Tangmere Village Centre. We aim to finish at 9.30pm.

We will start by introducing new members, then sharing the images you have sent in advance. Just select 3 of your best images of any subject and send to me, preferably by WeTransfer to: developers@chichestercameraclub.org.uk

Please note that sharing your images at the Group does not affect your competition or exhibition entires, but it is a good way of giving them an initial airing!

Please send them to me by Saturday 14  September!  I will then arrange the 3x images, one page for each photographer, in the PowerPoint Presentation.

The rest of the ‘magazine’ style programme will include:  ‘Seeing light through the eyes of a classic painter’;  Charlie Allison will show his AV presentation of April’s Cornish holiday;  Andy Bracey will help us get to grips with how to understand the features of different sensor sizes and mechanisms (APC/Full frame/Mirrorless);  and Clare Gordon-Pullar will show a few ways to get started with printing.  After the break, Richard Patterson will follow through from Paul Mitchel’s excellent presentation on ‘Woodland ways’ last Thursday, by sharing his experience of how to ‘see the wood for the trees’ and giving us his keys to woodland composition.

If you want help with camera settings, bring your camera with you and ask the questions in the break or afterwards!

Please don’t forget to bring £3 cash to help us pay for the hire of the hall.
