Chair’s Update

Yesterday evening CCC members and visitors were treated to a fantastic presentation by Mark Pain. Mark is a multi-award winning sports photographer with over twenty five years experience and is internationally renowned.

As well as covering major events worldwide, Mark was Chief Sports Photographer of the Mail On Sunday for over twenty years. Mark is a great raconteur, taking us from his start in Jessops, to travelling the world covering major sporting events. He started each half of his presentation with an audio visual of some stunning photos. Mark then talked us through his physical, technical and mental preparation before he gets anywhere near the shutter release. It is difficult to say any more about the evening without giving spoiler alerts. Thank you Mark.

Raffle

You will be pleased to hear that Richard’s run of winning the raffle has come to an end this week. One of the successful ticket holders was the host for the evening – Sue Nash, Vice Chair….. and she wasn’t going to give up her box of chocolates by nobly drawing another ticket – sorry!!
