Celebrating our Volunteers – Margret Preece

At the last meeting of the season before the Annual Exhibition, SCPF President, Stewart Lacey, attended to award a place on the Southern Counties Photographic Federation Roll of Honour to Margret Preece. The Roll of Honour was created in 2004 to recognise the important contributions made by individuals to club photography – actively contributing for at least 10 years. Margret has been recognised for just under a quarter of the century, of quiet, dedicated and exceptional service to Chichester Camera Club. Fellow members have described her as loyal, tireless and essential – a ‘foot soldier’ whose work makes everything else possible. Thank you Margret – for all you have done and continue to do, with such grace and quiet dedication – the honour is richly deserved.
