A maximum of six images mounted using a 50cm x 40cm mounting board may be submitted. Images previously entered in the Club’s Annual Exhibition are not eligible for submission. Identical images cannot be entered both as a print and a PDI. Images entered in the Club’s internal competitions or work not shown before are acceptable.

The Prints must have the following legible information on the reverse:

• Your name and your class (i.e. Club, Intermediate or Advanced)

• Image title. All images must have a title. Using ‘untitled’ or ‘no title’ will not be accepted. Titles are limited to26 characters, including spaces.

• Image location if appropriate. This information helps identify images eligible for the“10 Mile Radius of Chichester” award.

•The exhibitor cannot specify which entry should be considered for any of the award categories.

Handing in your prints:

Prints must be placed in a bag to separate them from other members’ prints. Please do not use any kind of adhesive material on the bag. Do not wrap each print separately or use print envelopes. The prints should be deposited into the boxes which will be put out in the main hall until 22nd May. Please ensure that submitted prints are placed in the correct box according to print class-Club, Intermediate or Advanced.

Registering prints on Photocomp:

The exhibitor must ensure that PDI’s for the prints are entered into Photocomp just as for any Club competition. The images should be uploaded onto Photocomp in the usual formatof 1600 x 1200 @ 300 dpi, sRGB.

Titles are limited to 26 characters, including spaces, so that titles can be fully accommodated in the catalogue. Please ensure the spelling of all titles is correct, as any errors will be replicated in the catalogue. Instructions for formatting digital files are given on the Club’s website:http://chichestercameraClub.org.uk/pdi-image-re-sizing

Notes on mounts: Prints are attached to the panels using the supplied Velcro adhesive discs. To prevent mounted prints falling from the Exhibition panels, ensure that the print backing board has a smooth, sealed (non-porous) surface finish. A cellulose acetate sheet may also be used. Do not use thick card of any kind even just behind the print area. If you wish to use double mounts, you must omit the backing board, although a thin covering to protect the back of the print such as a cellulose acetate sheet, is acceptable
