CCC Roll of Honour

At the 2026 AGM we voted to introduce a Chichester Camera Club Roll of honour. The Roll of honour will be our way to recognise, reward, and appreciate the dedicated service and significant contributions of members over a 10 year plus period.  This will act as a permanent record to celebrate the volunteers who keep the Club running. We have an annual system of awarding the Edmunds Cup which members can vote for annually. The Roll of Honour provides a longer-term more permanent option replacing life memberships and the awarding of vice presidents status following a review of this role.

The award is not designed to be given for photographic ability, but to recognise dedicated service, often above and beyond expectations. Nominations can be made by any club member through the a form available from the Club secretary. The nominations are then considered by the Management Committee for ratification. When agreed, the presentation of the award to the nominated member will take place at the preview evening for the Annual Exhibition.

Nominations will usually be open from the AGM for four weeks. This year is a little delayed as we have had to do some work on the process before launching. Please complete the nomination form (available from the Club secretary) and email back to David who will be in touch with the proposer and seconders, as necessary. The award will be considered at the next management committee meeting. It would help if you could be specific with dates of service that the nominee but otherwise give some indication of the length of time, along with a written description of the work the nominee has accomplished together with the name of at least one other referees

Please note that confidentiality should be maintained and at no time must a nomination be discussed with anyone other than the nominator and referees.
