Weekly Update

We hope that those of you who went on the woodland walk today enjoyed yourselves – many thanks to Nikki and Clare who led this.

Last Thursday we welcomed back judge John Tilsley, ARPS APAGB, who judged the 1st Advanced Print Competition. John is a leading member of both Dorchester and the Western Counties Photographic Federation with a particular interest in training the next generation of club judges. We saw an expert at work and there was so much to learn from the critique of each image. See below for the results.

This week we have the Digital Group on Tuesday 29th with Sarah and Jeff – see below for details.

On Thursday 31st we welcome David Jenner with his presentation on Night and Day Panoramas. As usual, lots happening – please put the Christmas Social in your diaries and start to think about an image to bring…..

Final call to pick up your images from the Summer Exhibition and the selection committee. We intend to empty the box this Thursday and we will be passing any left to Angela and Guy for the external exhibitions of the Hospice and Sage House – they will be put to good use but will not be back for 6 months.
