Thursday evening saw our very own John Bradshaw give a new presentation (its first airing! ) “What to do with the leftovers (images)” This explored some possible options for all those images in our archives that didn’t quite succeed for our objectives at the time. John also took a look at making Books, AV’s and free Exhibitions. This was done with John’s usual wit and humour. Thank you John for stepping into the breach.

Financials

The management Committee is working hard behind the scenes preparing for the next year and indeed looking at the programme for the following year. Thank you to those who have sent in some suggestions both on opportunities for club nights but also on income generation and cost savings. If you have anything you would like to suggest do send it to: chair@chichestercameraclub.org.uk As a club, we regularly take stock and consider our financial position. In addition to our specific cost increases in the past year alone (Assembly Hall + 50%, speaker fees +10%, other hall hire +15% etc), general inflationary pressures over the past 3 year (+21%) have caught up with us and we need to react and reset to maintain a strong and healthy account in order to ensure a secure future. We will keep you informed of our progress.
