Print Panel Competition – Thursday 10th April

Some information for the Club Members’ Handbook which may help you with your entries for next week. A print panel consists of between three and six separate prints, each individually mounted in 40cm x 50cm mounts. MULTIPLE IMAGES IN ONE MOUNT are not accepted. The panel should have a theme connecting the prints which must be explained through a title or sentence e.g. ‘Images of Chichester’. This “theme statement”should be included on the hanging plan. Each member may submit only one panel, which may include prints which have already been used in Club competitions. The panels are to be submitted on the night of the competition and must be accompanied by two copies of a hanging plan showing the layout. Individual panels are not marked, but the judge will comment on the merits of the panels and will select the 1st, 2nd& 3rd.
