Developers’ Group

Next Monday is the final Developers Group of the series – we are not meeting in May. 

The magazine programme will include:  ’20 keys to composition’, ‘seeing and handling light’ through the eyes of another classic painter, photowalks and opportunities for Events Photography, the Annual Exhibition, and a presentation by Vince Lavender on how to create multi-layered collage images.  After the break, as a special ‘end of term treat’, Julia Wainwright and Ian Roberts will take us on their Photographic Trips at Home and Abroad – from conception of the plan to the final results … and the stages in between.  Their presentation will be fascinating, enabling us to connect with their photographic journey – and picking up a load of great hints and tips along the way!

As usual, we will start with your images and welcome your reflections on your own work.  The current photo-challenges are ‘backlit images’ and ‘strong colours’.  Anyway, we really do we want to see your best images of whatever subject or genre.  This is also the last opportunity to try out images you might like to include in the Annual Exhibition. 

Please send 3 JPG images by WeTransfer (to developers@chichestercameraclub.org.uk) – it gets round the problem that some of the email services degrade the image quality.  Please send them by midnight this Saturday 12 April. 

It will be another evening packed with ideas and tips for photographers at all stages.  Do bring a handy notebook/device to jot down the things that grab your attention.  Please remember the £3 cash to help us pay for the hire of the hall (£5 for non-member guests you may invite).
