Good morning All,

Very interesting presentation last night. It was good to see how Slawek likes to replicate his images as to how he remembers a scene and the processes he incorporates to do so. Lots of info and tips that we might all adopt in our own processing.

An apology now. In the last Chair newsletter I referred to the 3rd Club/Inter print competition for the 24th February when it quite obviously will be the 1st. Getting ahead of myself a bit.

We’ve had to cancel the Bristol Salon presentation this year which was programmed for April 14th and further details will be circulated as to the replacement. Should any member wish to enter this salon then the closing date is 30th January and details can be accessed from the following link. https://bristolsalon.co.uk

A reminder that the Selection Committee require mounted prints for the SCPF championship by 25th January. Full details were circulated in the newsletter of 14/01/22 so please if you have prints please check that newsletter.

Finally, we are going to attempt hybrid meetings for both the print competitions scheduled for the 17th & 24th February. To find out how to get your prints delivered please use the following contact mail address competitions@chichestercameraclub.org.uk members will receive a response that tells them which address is appropriate to deliver to. The closing dates are the 3rd Feb for the Adv competition and 10th Feb for the Club/Inter competition. Details of the safety precautions that we will need to adopt for these hybrid meetings will be circulated in due course.
