Hi All,

A polite reminder that I am looking for two volunteers to manage the Print and Digital groups next season. These groups play an essential role within the club offering help and guidance to our members to improve their photography. The posts are not difficult and do not require a high degree of photography knowledge. The new post holders can call on past post holders and other club members for initial assistance and help until they fully understand the role. Please give some consideration to undertaking one of these posts and let me know as soon as possible if you would like to volunteer.

I have received the following mail from Florence Barker of FAB Falconry that may be of interest.

‘A FAB Falconry Photography Session on the 31st July from 6pm – 8.30pm.

The Birds will be posed on our Smallholding in a natural setting (in Nutbourne, Chichester, PO18 area) and you will have the choice of our Birds to Photograph. Our Falconers will be on hand to answer questions about the Birds and provide information. There will also be a chance to hold one of the Birds if you wish and to see some of the Birds in flight. We will have a break halfway through the session and Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate will be provided from our Campfire Cooking Team, just bring a mug! I am sure our Cooking Team will be able to provide some marshmallows for roasting too if I ask them nicely! Cold drinks are also available. Chairs will be available.
