PAGB GROUP, MONDAY 6th JUNE

The PAGB Group meets on Monday 6th June at 7.00pm in the small hall in the Tangmere Village Centre. Please come early to help to set up as we assess both prints and PDIs so there is much setting up to do.

At this meeting we will look at both Prints and PDIs with a view to assessing their suitability for Salon submissions and/or inclusion in a prospective panel for a PAGB distinction.

A PAGB Awards for Photograhic Merit Advisory Day                               will be held on                                                                                                                     Sunday 30th October 2016, 9.00am -5.00pm

At THE TANGMERE VILLAGE CENTRE, Malcolm Road, Tangmere, near CHICHESTER, PO20 2HS

Led by ROD WHEELANS and members of the APM Team

Hosted by THE SOUTHERN PHOTOGRAPHIC FEDERATION                Facilitated by  The PAGB Group of The Chichester Camera Club

This workshop is intended for those who are thinking of applying for one of the PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit, CPAGB, DPAGB and MPAGB. Participants will have the opportunity to have a prospective panel of images assessed by experienced adjudicators and will receive advice and feedback on the standard of their work and the award level for which they should aim.

COST (to include tea/coffee)                                                                                    £18 for those bringing images for advice, £6 for observers.

Because of the limited numbers of places available for participants there will be a high demand for tickets. Early booking is strongly recommended.

 

PAGB Group, Monday 9th May

At this meeting Carole Speight APAGB will be our guest judge to assess our images. Carole is a very experienced judge so we are delighted to have her attend the meeting.

FURTHER SUCCESSES FOR PAGB GROUP MEMBERS IN INTERNATIONAL SALONS

Congratulations to the following group members who won awards in International Exhibitions recently

SUE NASH won a FIAP Ribbon in the 4th MOF International Exhibition

SUE NASH also won an Honorable Mention in the 1st Atlantic International Exhibition

JOHN HOWES won a Silver Medal in the 4th Miroc Digital Circuit

LORNA BROWN won a Judges Ribbon at the RPS Digital Imaging Group’s Print Exhibition 2016. This exhibition gives only seven awards overall, so well done Lorna.

 

SUCCESS FOR PAGB GROUP MEMBERS IN THE 2016 SOUTHAMPTON INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.

Congratulations to members of the PAGB Group who had a great success in Southampton this year. Between them they won eleven awards and had sixty images accepted.

SHEILA TESTER was awarded 2 Judge’s Medals and 2 Certificates

FRANK ADAMS won a Silver Medal for Best Landscape

LORNA BROWN won a FIAP Ribbon and also won two Certificates

GEORGE ATKINS was awarded a Certificate

MIKE DAVISON was awarded a Certificate

December Salon successes for PAGB Group members

      3rd CORK  INTERNATIONAL SALON OF PHOTOGRAPHY

  • George Atkins was awarded a SACC Gold Medal for ‘Botallack Tin Mine’,  along with several other acceptances
  • Ann McDonald was awarded a PSA Silver Medal for  ‘Through the Doorways’, along with several other acceptances
  • Lorna Brown was awarded a PSA Ribbon for ‘Memento Mori’, along with several other acceptances
